God value for money
Beautiful rooms overlooking the lake. good food and service. Only drawback guest laundry is quite a distance away.

We rated this the best motel on our two-week excursion round South Island. The view onto the lake was stunning - I honestly gasped when I first saw it. Our room was beautifully presented,and the facilities were great - all the right touches present. Had a really good meal in the restaurant too. Strongly recommended!

Stayed for one night, good view from the room of the lake, had good meal at the restaurant. Limited places to stay at Hawea, this would probably be the better of what is available. Would stay again, pleasant staff, clean room.
